Well. It's about time that Kim Kardashian use her massive ... platform to go ahead and do some good in this world," or "bring some awareness," and hey -- she just might have found her niche that doesn't involve clothing lines, Fashion Week, or reality TV. Good on her, right?
Kim's teamed up with Dr. Drew Pinsky for a documentary called "#RedFlag," which highlights the correlation between depression and social media today -- a topic that's become all of a sudden relevant in Kim's life, since her brother allegedly suffers from depression and has posted some rather questionable things on his own social media platforms as of late.
About the show, Kim -- who's Executive Producer -- says, “I am blessed to be surrounded by family and friends that are loving and nurturing, but not everyone has that kind of support. Twenty-five percent of adults in America will suffer from a mental illness in their lifetime, and many of them turn to social media to vent their depression, loneliness and isolation."
Kim has an unfathomably huge following ... and if this is what she can do -- or sees it in the peoples' better interest to do -- with her star power, then more power to her. How can you hate on someone who's bringing mental health awareness to light even if they could be using it for their own further gain?......
